Jose Riva (Spain) was on dominant form against a world class field in the Presidents Cup, held at Sidmouth. He managed a rare straight quadruple peel and held off a strong challenge from Christian Carter (Surbiton).
The players were very appreciative of the support from the club as they do not usually have so many watching. They commented on how friendly and helpful everybody was to them and loved the situation beside the sea.
This splendid tournament has raised the profile of Sidmouth Croquet Club in the Croquet World.
