Annual Croquet Skills Afternoon

 On Wednesday 8^th July we held our Annual Skills Tournament where members are invited to test their Association and Golf Croquet skills by a variety of tests and challenges. Around 50 members took part in either format with some more adaptable members competing in both competitions.

The winner of the Core Hill Cup for the GC Shot Game Handicap was David Williamson with Cilla Franks and Mike Franks sharing the runners-up spot.

The Beacon Hill Cup for GC Shot Game Level Play was won by Stuart Haydon just ahead of Richard Abrahams and John Cowling.

The Robert Case Cup for AC Shot Game Handicap was won by Amanda Haste with Gerry Williams in second place.

The Robert Case Shield for AC Shot Game Level Play was won by Mike Hedge with the unlucky Gerry Williams again in the runners-up spot.

Many congratulations to all the winners.

 The afternoon ended with a fine cream tea in the pavilion. Many thanks to those who help set up and guide members through the challenges and kept the scores. Also, a big thank you to Marian for organising the cream tea.
